The Hyatt Regency Yokohama is beautifully decorated with spacious areas that are easily accessible. My room was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as numerous outlets for my devices, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Exceptional service throughout the stay, with staff providing a warm towel upon arrival during the rain. The clean room was a highlight, and I particularly enjoyed the calmness of the hot tub, despite it being somewhat small. Dining options were pleasant, especially the soup served, though I found the mini fridge in need of repair, which detracted slightly from the experience.

Plus, the location is ideal, just a 2-minute walk from public transport, perfect for checking out nearby attractions like Chinatown and Cosmo Clock.

We experienced numerous issues with our room. The air conditioning was not functioning, making our stay uncomfortably hot. Communication with reception was frustrating due to language barriers, and instead of being offered a new room, the staff simply opened a window. It's disappointing that a five-star establishment couldn't handle this problem more effectively.

The check-in process could use some work. despite having arrived early, there were guests checked in with early access due to their room rate, which felt a bit unfair. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist, even helping me with dinner reservations when I was too exhausted to figure it out myself. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, they had a huge spread, and the french toast was the best I have ever tasted.

It wasn’t inexpensive but still worth it for the experience.

A Memorable Stay with Minor Inconveniences

We had a lovely stay in the deluxe king room, which was spacious and comfortable. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was delightful. the sushi was fresh and expertly prepared. However, be prepared for busy mornings with cruise passengers. Arranging taxis can be tricky, so plan ahead!

It was just a commendable fit for a transient stop in Yokohama with high value for money. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of options, though some choices were a bit too gourmet for my taste. Consider keeping your breakfast selections simpler to enjoy more of the classic favorites.

Great stay with a view!

We spent 2 nights here and really liked the room. It was nicely decorated and had a cool soaking tub. But man, breakfast was a mess, with staff running into each other and food running out. Also, our luggage was lost for a bit when we checked in, which was a hassle. Still, the restaurant had some solid food options and we could see Mt Fuji from our view!
